To make truly great eyewear, we feel it’s critical to craft each pair in ways that are not only ethical, but environmentally responsible.
It's really why we're here.
We demand that our suppliers treat all workers fairly + ethically, at all times.
It's easy when it's family!
We are continually strengthening our Supplier Code of Conduct to help implement new, safer and more ethical working conditions for our overseas suppliers. Although we source all wood materials from North America, our manufacturers are from China. Fortunately, as our brand has grown over the last few years so has this family operated business. It's been amazing to see their family business grow just as ours has, furthering our commitment to being global citizens. We are committed to the highest standards of social / ethical responsibility and conduct. We believe all workers in the supply chain deserve a fair and ethical workplace. Workers must be treated with the utmost dignity and respect, and suppliers shall uphold the highest standards of human rights.
We insist on safe + healthy facilities for all workers.
As a company, Proof is committed to making two visits a year to our manufacturing facilities to ensure that processes are up to the standards set in our supplier code. During these visits, the Proof Team ensures supplier's dedication to providing and maintaining a safe work environment for all their workers as well as, integrating health and safety management practices into its business. Proof stands by the right of workers to refuse unsafe work and to report unhealthy working conditions.
We hold our products + processes to create them to the highest environmental standards.
Proof is committed to protecting the environment, so environmental responsibility is at the core of operations. Suppliers shall develop, implement, and maintain environmentally responsible business practices. Proof Eyewear expects the highest standards of ethical conduct in all endeavors. Suppliers shall always be ethical in every aspect of its business, including relationships, practices, sourcing, operations, and documentation. We're able to keep the price point where it's at because of the sustainable technology of our overseas manufacturers.
We think of ourselves as global citizens in that we sell our glasses all over the globe. We also give back to areas all over the world through different Do Good Projects, most recently with the Philippines. We don't limit our business to the US, in any way, shape or form.
