Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do, we ship directly to most countries in the world. If you’re lucky we may even have a Proof Distributor in your country, where you can buy your item directly.

Can my wood glasses get wet?
Your wood glasses can get wet; the majority of them even float. Each pair of Proof’s are coated with a sweat / water proof wood seal to help protect your glasses.
Can I put my prescription in my glasses?
We offer one wood framed style that is prescription ready and five frames in the ECO collection that is RX ready as well. The Boise RX Frame in the wood collection is the only frame available to have your personal prescription filled in it. The rest of the wood frames we do not recommend trying to have this done to, and will not be covered in your warranty.
When will my order be shipped? When will it arrive?
If your order was placed Monday thru Thursday it will be within 48 hours. If your order was placed on Friday the order may be shipped the same day, if not it will be shipped on Monday. You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your order has shipped. All domestic packages within the 48 states usually take 2-7 days. International orders can take anywhere between 2-4 weeks.

Will my credit card be charged immediately?
No. Your credit card will not be charged until your order is shipped. When you enter your credit card information on the final review page, we’ll give you an order confirmation number. You will also immediately receive an e-mail confirming that your order has been received. We will send you another e-mail to notify you when your order has been shipped and we’ve charged your credit card.

What’s your return policy?
We guarantee our merchandise to be free of manufacturing defects and will accept any defective item for refund or exchange . Proof Eyewear will issue a refund within 30 days of purchase in the form and amount tendered for the original transaction. All returns or exchanges must be unworn, unused and in their original condition with receipt and tags attached. How do I warranty my glasses?
Link to warranty page)All claims must be submitted to our (hyperlink to warranty claim form). Do not return your Proof product to the store. Dealers are not authorized to provide warranty service on Proof products.

What is covered under warranty?
Proof warrants products against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. Proof also reserves the right to determine manufacturing defects, and requires proof of purchase from an authorized Proof dealer to qualify products as warrantable. If a product is deemed defective, Proof will repair or replace the item at no cost to you. If a product is not considered defective (a scratched lens, my dog chewed them up (true story), I sat on them, I put them in my suitcase and the baggage handler broke them, user error, etc is not considered defective), Proof will repair the item at a reasonable charge (between $20 and $40 depending on damage) and ship it back to you (Shipping is included).

PRODUCT QUESTIONS
What type of lenses do you use?
All of our glasses come standard with CR-39 plastic lenses. The CR-39 lenses are half the weight of glass lenses, have better ultraviolet (UV) light protection, are less prone to shattering, and can be tinted more easily. And with an added scratch-resistant coating, they are nearly as resistant to scratches as glass lenses.
How do I have my prescription put into my glasses?
The best way to have your personal prescription filled in a pair of RX ready Proof frames is with your local optometrist. Due to the high demand and time we do not fill personal prescriptions here at Proof at this time. Contact your local optometrist for more information.
What is a polarized lens?
A polarized lens blocks the glare and allows you to see further and clearer. Some people prefer this type of lens in their sunglasses as it provide higher visibility and a clearer view. Great for the active lifestyle: Boating, snow sports, and driving.
How should I clean my glasses?
We recommend using tap water and the micro fiber cleaning pouch which was provided to you with your purchase. Genially blot the lens dry with the micro fiber cloth and gently polish to remove any smudges. Lens glass specific cleaners will also do the trick.
What is the ECO acytete collection made out of?
It is made from plants, not oil, like most acetate/plastic out there. It is a process that we worked on with our supplier in Italy to develop. It uses cellulose from plants like cotton and trees to create a biodegradable product that will last a lifetime.
Can the eco collection be adjusted?
The bridge on all models can be adjusted by an eye care professional. The models with wood temples cannot be adjusted. The all acetate frames are 100% adjustable with steel metal rod extending the length of the arm.
How should I take care of my glasses?
All Proof eyewear is treated with a coating that is non-allergenic hardened protective finish. This protective coating helps the wood maintain the proper moisture needed to prevent drying out and/or cracking, while also helping to repel water and sweat.
Our ECO acetate line should follow the same care instructions with regards to the wood. Clean your lenses and frames with the microfiber bag included in your purchase. Some fabrics may scratch your lenses, so be sure to use the included microfiber bag.
For daily care, we recommend that Proof eyewear is constantly kept in a safe place. Do not store glasses in your pocket, backpack, hanging from your shirt, etc. If you are not wearing them, keep them in the hard case that comes with most eyewear purchases or in safe place.
Is the wood you use sustainable?
Yes, we only use wood from sustainable or managed sources. We won’t use wood that is endangered.
What kind of UV protection do your sunglasses offer?

How durable are the glasses?
Wood is a great medium to work with. It has been used for centuries in art, construction and tools. We start with wood species that are strong as well as lightweight. We then select the best cuts free from defects and flaws. We then treat all our frames to protect the natural fibers within the wood. This makes the frames much stronger than untreated wood without sacrificing the beauty and natural character of real wood. Our E.C.O. Acetate frames are made from a super durable acetate plastic that will last a lifetime.
How do I read your frame measurements?
The frame measurements correspond to the width of the lens, the width of the nose, and the length of the temple (arm). For example the Bud sunglass frame measurements are: 57-14-145. So the width of the lens is 57mm the width of the bridge is 14mm and the length of the temple (arm) is 145.

What are your shipping fees?
Here at Proof we charge a flat shipping and handling fee for all domestic orders of $9.00. This covers the shipping cost, the packaging cost, and handling cost to assemble your order.

What’s the difference between Order Date and Ship Date?
The order date is the date that you placed your order. The ship date is the day that the purchase was shipped out of our facilities. Order and ship date can sometimes be the same day. Most of the time the ship date will be a day or two after the order date.
Do you ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses?
Yes we can ship to PO boxes and to APO/FPO addresses. Support the troops right.

How should I ship my return, exchange, warranty?
Be sure to pack and seal your box securely, in the original package if possible. Be sure to send back your return or exchange with the microfiber pouch and case. To be properly processed, you return/exchange must include a completed return form. Return/Exchange forms can be located on our site by
clicking here. Once your return, exchange, warranty is processed and packaged securely. We encourage you to send your return or exchange with a shipping company that allows you to track the package. This way you will know when the package arrives and so it is not lost in transit. Proof is not responsible for lost packages / items in transit.
When will my credit card be refunded?
Once your package has been received, your refund or exchange will be processed within 7 business days. If there is a refund due, a credit will be issued in the original form of payment. The credit may not show up until your credit card’s next monthly billing cycle. You will be notified via email to the address listed on your order when this transaction has taken place. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from us. When processing your exchange we automatically credit you in the original form of payment and reauthorize a new payment for your exchange. If you have used a banking or debit card your financial institutions policies may result in a non-sufficient funds charge if you are executing a return/exchange.
How long will it take for my warranted item to get back to me?
To process your claim it may take up to seven days, once processed warranteed item could take up to 45 days to replace depending upon if you are international.

Are the products on the website the same as in the stores?
Most stores have a good selection of Proof products but usually don’t have all the product we offer. But checking out a store will give you a good idea on the fit and feel of our products.
Why can’t I select the color/size combination I want on the product pages?
This is due to the fact that we do not offer this combo or it is currently out of stock.
