Boise State Dance Marathon strives to raise monetary support and awareness for our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital, St. Luke's Children's Hospital, through year-round events. Each year funds are allocated to the St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital of Boise. 

The year-round efforts culminate in February when hundreds of students stand on their feet for seventeen hours to show their dedication to the children, families, and hospitals Dance Marathon supports. At this event, hundreds of individuals and groups from campus and the community come together to raise awareness about Children's Miracle Network. During the Marathon, dancers are challenged mentally and physically, gaining perspective of the even greater challenges and obstacles facing the children Dance Marathon supports.

Boise State Dance Marathon is one of the fastest growing Dance Marathon programs in the nation with a 640% increase of funds raised and the attendance number doubling from the first year in 2013 to the second year in 2014. In 2014, Boise State Dance Marathon accepted the DMLC National Miracle Maker Award for Dance Marathon programs in their 2nd or 3rd year.
